Which Caldera Springs amenities come with the house

Caldera Springs and Sunriver Resort are two different places with two different sets of amenities, and the difference is not obvious from the outside. This page sets out exactly what comes with our house.

Included with the house

These come with your stay and cost nothing extra.

• Quarry Pool, with the infinity pool overlooking Obsidian Lake and two outdoor spas
• The tennis and pickleball courts directly across the street
• The community gym
• Nearly nine miles of paved and soft paths inside Caldera Springs
• Six Cannondale bikes and two kayaks, kept in the garage
• The private hot tub, gas fire pit and gas barbecue at the house
• A game room with ping pong, foosball and an arcade machine

Not included

Our home is independently managed. Access reserved for Caldera Springs owners and guests who book through Sunriver Resort Vacation Properties does not come with this rental.

• Forest House, including its pools, lazy river, waterslide, hot tub, fitness center, Piney’s cafe, duckpin bowling and indoor games
• Caldera Links golf course
• Bikes, paddleboards, canoes and kayaks from The Outpost; the bikes and kayaks kept at our house are included as described above
• The Cove Aquatic Center, Crosswater and other Sunriver Resort golf privileges, and The Spa at Sunriver Resort and its fitness and pickleball facilities
• Sunriver Resort transportation, concierge service, the seasonal Mt. Bachelor shuttle and resort discounts
• Mt. Bachelor lift tickets, rentals and lessons, and other activity bookings elsewhere in Central Oregon

Seasonal, or subject to community rules

Quarry Pool hours change by season, and the association sets guest limits from time to time. The kayaks are for Obsidian Lake and depend on the season and the weather. The courts are shared and run on community rules.

None of this is complicated in practice. It is just worth knowing before you plan a day around it, and we will confirm current hours for your dates if you ask.
