Northstar Tahoe
The Recreation Center: access, fees and what to bring
What the pool and gym cost per person per day, and what comes with the condo without paying anything.

This is the single thing that has caught guests out, so it gets its own page rather than a line of small print.
The pool, hot tubs and gym belong to the private Northstar Property Owners Association Recreation Center, which is not open to the general public. Staying in our condo makes registered lodging guests eligible to use it, but admission is charged separately per person per day.
What it costs
The Northstar Property Owners Association currently charges $10 per day for each lodging guest age 5 or older. Children age 4 and younger are free. The association sets the fee, so check its guest FAQ before your trip in case it changes.
Hours are seasonal. NPOA publishes the current schedule on the same page, and we are happy to help you check it for your dates.
What is included with the condo, at no charge
Everything inside the condo, which is most of what a family actually uses on a ski trip.
- Wifi measured at 420 Mbps, and a dedicated workspace by a window
- A gas fireplace, Sonos speakers and smart TVs
- Board games and video games, and a basket of toys for younger children
- A fully equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker — bring your own beans
- Linens, towels and the usual soaps and paper goods
- Two parking passes for unassigned spaces in the Ski Trails Condo lot beside the building
- A travel cot and a high chair, if you tell us in advance
What to bring
If you plan to use the Recreation Center, bring swimming things for everyone and be ready to pay at the door. If you would rather not, you will not miss out on much: the Village has an ice rink and fire pits, the condo has its own fireplace, and most of our winter guests are out on the mountain all day anyway.
